Title: Strategic Sales Lead - Data Centre

This is a unique opportunity to help shape Chorus' position in one of the fastest-growing and most strategically important parts of our business. As Strategic Sales Lead - Backhaul & Data Centre, you'll be responsible for identifying and unlocking growth opportunities across the data centre ecosystem, working with hyperscalers, channel partners and enterprise customers to drive revenue and strengthen Chorus' market presence.
This is a highly strategic, externally focused role that combines sales leadership, market development and relationship management. You'll build and execute growth plans, develop trusted relationships across the industry, and work closely with product, proposition and engineering teams to bring customer solutions to life. Success in this role will come from your ability to think creatively, navigate complex stakeholder environments and position Chorus as a trusted infrastructure partner in an evolving market.

We're looking for someone who brings a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen and deep industry relationships. You may have:
- Extensive experience in strategic sales, business development or account leadership within telecommunications, data centres, cloud, or related technology sectors.
- A proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships.
- Established networks and credibility across the data centre, connectivity, hyperscaler or infrastructure ecosystem.
- Experience developing and executing market growth strategies in emerging or evolving markets.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience leading complex negotiations, proposals and RFP/RFI processes.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence outcomes across diverse customer groups.
- A customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into compelling solutions.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, proposition, engineering and delivery teams.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to create opportunities where others see challenges.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, coupled with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
